In view of the extraordinary server down time for the game client patch on 15th of May 2008 between 0000hrs (+8 GMT) to 1900hrs (+8 GMT), we will be scheduling the following reimbursement plans for affected players.

Reimbursement Plan1

*For all existing Cash Items bought before 0000 hrs on 15th May 2008, the availability date will be extended for 1 more day.

Reimbursement Plan 2

2X EXP and 2X Drop Rate will take place on 19th May 2008 (Monday) for a period of 12 hours!

*19th May 2008 (Monday) – 1000hrs to 2200hrs

– Evil Spirit Jar quest added, available at Cassandra.
2X EXP event will be activated when required amount of quest per each world is completed by all users.
This is abit like collecting Unqualified Knitting Balls during Chrsitmas?
– Requirement to complete the Ulu city quest in SG map has added (monsters to be hunted)
Anyone want to find this out for me?
– Party quest ‘Monster Carnival’ added, available at Spiegelmann.

[Event]
-MapleSEA 3rd anniversary event & quest added (May 14th ~ July 2nd)
① Monsters will drop Maple items (weapon, shield, Maple Leaf)
Start dropping already! (Wait, 14th was yesterday, BEFORE the patch!)
② Collected Maple items and Maple Leaf can be exchanged to 3rd anniversary Maple weapon, shield and exclusive scroll at Maple Administrator.

③ Maple Hat upgrade available at Maple Administrator.

Nope, it was Asiasoft who stopped the release of 0.55, therefore, the GM’s didn’t know about this and when NGPriest checked the FTP, it turns out to be 0.56, not 0.55
a) Something is wrong with 0.55
b) Someone told the GMC’s about this site? (Well, some of the GM’s know about this site, so we can assume a?)

Oh, if the link DOESN’T work, it means the patch hasn’t been released yet
The link SHOULD be faster than Auto patcher, since the Auto patcher will be used for ALMOST ALL maplers when the servers go back up (and you’ll already be on when everyone is patching?)

Usually, NGPriest and the GM’s will already be on researching (and testing) the new features, join us as soon as the servers go up?

USA Today, Security risks swell for Microsoft’s Explorer:
Using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Web browser to surf the Internet has become a marked risk — even with the latest security patches installed.

The Inquirer, US Government warns against Internet Explorer:
The US Government has sent out a warning out to internet users through its Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT), pleading users to stop using Microsoft’s Internet Explorer.

eWeek, Bugs, Exploits Dog XP SP2:
Meanwhile, security researchers are reporting a new vulnerability in SP2 that could allow a malicious Web site to deposit an attack program on a user’s system.
The attack utilizes Internet Explorer’s drag-and-drop features and the Windows “shell folders” to copy an executable from a malicious Web site to a user’s startup folder, from which it would execute the next time the user logged on.
