1. Conditions and some facts about Monster Carnival

2 parties consisting of 2 to 6 players each (depending on Carnival Field maps entry requirements).
Only players from level 30 to 50 are eligible to participate.
Each battle last for 10mins.
Skills that cannot be used in this game mode are the Haste, Teleport and Darksight.
Personal consumables are not usable.
Users will be able to consume special consumables dropped by the monsters in the Monster Carnival upon picking them up.
The 2 parties will be divided into the Red and Blue team and any communications between the 2 party will be disabled.
The party with the highest Carnival Points (CP) will be declared as the winner at the end of the battle.
If your party leaves the quest map before it ends, the opposing party will be crowned as winners irregardless of the CP.

2. How to enter the Monster Carnival

Speigelman can be found at these locations:

Kerning City
Orbis Town
Ludibrium Town
CBD
Once a party leader assembles with his party members, all of them will have to enter Speigelman’s office by clicking on him at the selected towns. As soon as members arrive inside his office, the party leader will be able to choose which field he wants to enter. If a party is already inside, you will need to wait for an acceptance. The party will be in the waiting room until the arrival of the other party up till a maximum of 3 minutes. Once both parties are inside the waiting room, they will then be transported to the field selected previously. If no other party enters the waiting room after 3 minutes, the waiting party will be sent out to Speigelman’s office where they can choose to enter again.
Notes:

The party that reaches the waiting room first will have the privilege of accepting or declining the other party’s request to join the game.
Both parties are able to view the IGN, job info, character level and the average level of the opposite party.
To ensure a fair battle, the level difference between 2 parties should not be greater than 5.
Clicking on the NPC in the waiting room allows the user to exit it.

3. Monster Carnival Game Play

Once inside the Monster carnival field maps, monsters will automatically spawn and the battle begins! Each battle will last up to a maximum of 10 minutes. Other ways in which a party can prevail over the other is if the entire opposing party member died or that they leave the game. Each party member need to defeat the monsters in order to gain Carnival Points (CP). The party with the highest maximum CP will win the battle.
Acquired CP – This is the amount of CP you will have accumulated as an individual; you can use this amount of CP as a cost to summon monsters to attack the opponents and skills or protectors to aid you in your battle.

Party CP – This shows the total CP available for usage versus the maximum CP achieved so far. Maximum CP achieved determines the winner.

Special items – other than CP, users can also pick up potions and Maple coins upon killing the monster summoned by the opponent. These Maple coins can be collected and exchange with NPC Speigelman for level 30 to 55 equipments.

The above Monster carnival User Interface will open once user enters the battlefield. Users can select and combine strategies they want to use by clicking or by using the Hotkeys Tab and F1 ~ F12 buttons. TAB toggles between Summoning Monsters, Skills and Protectors that can either hinder opponents or aid your party members. F1 ~ F12 allows users to directly enter the options into the Summoning List.

3a. Monsters, Skills and Protectors

How to differentiate between monsters of each party?

Mob

User’s own Mob is semi-transparent.

HP Bar

HP bar located above the Mob’s head
How do the skills work?
It delays the opposing party by Summoning Skills to inflict darkness, weakness, etc. It is effective in preventing the opponents from defeating the monsters. However, it requires a lot of CP and it doesn’t last long.
How does the Protector work?
Protector is basically a Reactor summoned to boosts the abilities of the user’s monsters. It is randomly set up at a designated place in the map. Once it is set up, a notification will be announced in the chatbox. The effects will disappear if it’s destroyed by the opposing party.

Blue Reactor
(Red Team must attempt to destroy it)

What happens if someone in your party dies?
Users who died will be revived in the regeneration map. They can choose to continue in the same competition again. However, the CP of the opponent’s party will be increased. If they decide to leave, no extra points will be allocated to the opposing team. If all the members of one party died, the other party will be the winner.

    I wore a bomb.
A nuclear bomb in a field of flowers.
    I could get lucky.
Tomorrow I could have a bigger bomb.
