Ξ April 21st, 2009 | → 0 Comments | ∇ Author: NGPriest |

As you know, i’ve been taking LOTS of time off Maple (to the point where i quit Maple to make more time for other projects i’m working on)

About my day
I went to watch "Mall Cop" with my sisters and family friends
Bought tickets, ran to Kmart to buy stuff to eat during the movies
I bought 2 litres of Fanta and Sprite
Ran back and watched the movies
Then we had lunch

DSC00276

Then we went to funhouse, brought the token price from $0.50 to $0.41
My current ticket collect is now 100x Tickets
Went back to Kmart to buy "Animal Crossing + Wii Speak" and "Pikmin"
I rang my auntie to buy "Animal Crossing + Wii Speak", since it was $30 cheaper, but i’ll need to go buy it myself, since she said she couldn’t find it
Went to ATM to withdraw money
Was going to buy both for $130 + $50, but forgot to bring my Flyby card
Rang my mum ask her to bring her card
While waiting, fire alarm!

By Robyn Ironside
April 20, 2009 02:19pm

UPDATE: Fire crews have contained a blaze at Sunnybank Plaza’s food court in McCullough Street on Brisbane’s southside.

The fire broke out in the food court area of the shopping centre about 1.30pm, and shoppers and staff evacuated.

Firefighters managed to contain the flames to a shelving area and are now ventilating the centre so normal trade can resume.

The cause of the blaze is being investigated.

Police can knock on your door to check for pirated discs
by Kong See Hoh
PENANG (April 14, 2009) : If you think it is harmless to keep a few copies of pirated discs at home, be warned. The police can knock on you door anytime, China Press reported today.

Penang police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Ayub Yaakob (pix) told the daily police are discussing with copyrights holders and relevant units on steps to be taken to crack down on music and film piracy.

He said police can launch a crackdown anytime.

Ayub said police have been carrying out raids on sellers of pirated discs but are unable to stem out the scourge.

He pointed out that where there is demand there will be supply regardless of the number of raids.

This is giving police a headache, he said, adding that the only way to solve the problem is to deal with the consumers (to stop them from buying pirated discs).

“Police are sometimes caught in between consumers who lament that the constant anti-piracy raids are making it hard for them to get cheap discs and traders selling genuine products who complain that piracy is affecting their business,” he said.

He said although police have not launched a full-scale operation against piracy, the public should not drive the law enforcers up the wall.

He reminded owners of pirated discs that it is an offence to possess three or more fakes and offenders can be fined or jailed or both.

He said a few members of the public have been booked for possession of fake discs some time ago but did not give the exact figure.

“If the police receive reports against members of the public for possession of pirated discs, we will take immediate action. We will knock on their doors,” he said.

Under the Copyright Act 1987, anyone found guilty of possessing three or more pirated discs can be fined up to RM20,000 and jailed up to five years or both for each disc.

– So, they have nothign else better to do nowdays? First backseat belt, now pirated disc? OMG! What’s next? Nokia replica? Rolex replica? LV replica? or Adidas replica?
or… you name it?

NGPriest: Malaysian Racism

Ξ April 19th, 2009 | → 2 Comments | ∇ Author: NGPriest |

And today this is what happened in Malaysia racism,

These lists cover a period of about 49 years since Independence Day in Malaysia (1957):

  1. Out of all the 5 major banks in Malaysia , only one bank is own by multi-racial, the rest are controlled by Malays.
  2. 99% of Petronas (the only one petroleum company) directors are Malays, and the former Prime Minister work as Consultant in Petronas.

  5. 100% all contractors working under Petronas projects must be "bumi’s status" (Malay).
  6. 0% of non-Malays staffs are legally required in Malay’s companies. But there must be 30% Malays staffs in Chinese companies. And big companies in Malaysia require a Malays hold as director status with 51% shareholder. Which this mean non-Malays own company needs to give their property to Malays. And non-Malays citizen can’t really own their business.
  7. 5% of all new intake for government police, nurses, army, is non-Malays.
  8. 2% is the present Chinese staff in Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), drop from 40% in 1960.

  10. 7% is the percentage of Chinese government servants in the whole government (in 2004), drop from 30% in 1960. Only 2 position for non-Malays in political status.
  11. 95% of government contracts are given to Malays; even it is an open tender. Non-Malays contractors tender the lower price and use better materials can’t get the contract that government given.
  12. 100% all business licensees are controlled by Malay government e.g. Taxi permits, Approved permits, etc. and all the license are given to government officer families.
  13. 80% of the Chinese rice millers in Kedah (north of peninsular Malaysia ) had to be sold to Malay and controlled by Bernas (Government Org.) since 1980s. Otherwise, life is make difficult for Chinese rice millers.
  14. 100 big companies set up, owned and managed by Chinese Malaysians
were taken over by government, and later managed by Malays since 1970’s
e.g. UTC, UMBC, MISC, etc. This company now is the sole company.
  15. At least 10 Chinese owned bus companies (throughout Malaysia, throughout 40 years) had to be sold to MARA or other Malay transport companies due to rejection by Malay authority to Chinese application for bus routes and rejection for their application for new buses.
  16. 2 Chinese taxi drivers were barred from driving in Johor (South of Peninsular Malaysia) Larkin bus station. There are about 30 taxi drivers and 3 are Chinese in October 2004. Spoiling taxi club properties was the reason given.
  17. 0 non-Malays are allowed to get shop lots in the new Muar (city in south peninsular Malaysia ) bus station (November 2004).

  25. 5% – the government universities lecturers of non-Malay origins had been reduced from about 70% in 1965 to only 5% in 2004 with the reason Malaysia Education Ministry give full support for Malays only.
  26. Only 5% is given to non-Malays for government scholarships over 40 years.
  27. 0 Chinese or Indians were sent to Japan and Korea under "Look East Policy".
  28. 128 STPM (High Study / A Level) Chinese top students could not get into the course that they aspired i.e. Medicine and doctors (in 2004). Malays with not qualify result can get into the course.

  48. 20 constituencies won by DAP would not get funds from the government to develop. Or these Chinese majority constituencies would be the last to be developed
  49. 100 constituencies (parliaments and states) had been racist re-delineated so Chinese voters were diluted that Chinese candidates, particularly DAP candidates lost in election since 1970s

  • I write your name in my breath on the window, Sit and watch as it fades away
  • Hi honey.
Guess what I did at work today?
    I wore a bomb.
A nuclear bomb in a field of flowers.
    I could get lucky.
Tomorrow I could have a bigger bomb.
    I could kill more people.
    Maybe they'll be innocent people.
    Children, maybe.
  • "You are like a plague, John Crichton,
and you have ruined my life . . .
    and yet
    I just keep coming back."
  • I'll watch the night turn light blue
But it's not the same without you
Because it takes two to whisper quietly
    The silence isn't so bad
Till I look at my hands and feel sad
Cause the spaces between my fingers
Are right where yours fit perfectly
